We are so excited to be adding the Okavango Delta to our list of African destinations.  The Okavango Delta is one of the largest freshwater wetlands in southern Africa and is home to over 1,000 species of plants, more than 480 species of birds, 130 species of mammals, and numerous species of reptiles and fish. This delta in north-west Botswana comprises permanent marshlands and seasonally flooded plains. It is one of the very few major interior delta systems that do not flow into a sea or ocean, with a wetland system that is almost intact.  The Okavango Delta is home to some of the world’s most endangered species of large mammal, such as the cheetah, white rhinoceros, black rhinoceros, African wild dog and lion.


Victoria Falls, the largest waterfall in the world, presents a spectacular sight of awe-inspiring beauty and grandeur on the Zambezi River, forming the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. It is unlike any other place in the world. Adventure is all around you as you walk along the majestic Victoria falls. BEFORE YOU GO

ITINERARY

DAY 1

 

Arrive in Johannesburg, South Africa 

 

Hotel: Southern Sun O.R. Tambo

You will be welcomed by a representative at the airport and whisked away to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day unwinding. Check-in is between 1-5pm. Join us for our 5pm Welcome Meet and Greet Reception and receive your gift bag, meet your fellow adventurers, and more, all while enjoying local wine and hors d'oeuvres. 

 

DAY 2

 

Johannesburg/ Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe 

 

Hotel: A'Zambezi River Lodge

 

Today we'll Fly as a group to spectacular Victoria Falls, hailed as one of the world’s Seven Natural Wonders. After we settle into the hotel, we'll meet for drinks at the bar overlooking the Zambezi river as well wait for our ride to the boat where we'll sail upstream on a sunset dinner cruise. As the sun sets, be ready with your binoculars to zoom in on the hippos cavorting in the river. Look out for the elephants as they make their way to the riverbank for their last drink before settling down for the night.

DAY 3

 

Victoria Falls 

Hotel: A'Zambezi River Lodge


After breatfast we’ll head on a private guided tour of Victoria Falls. After lunch at the Lookout Cafe we'll head to visit the town of Victoria Falls.

DAY 4

Victoria Falls 

Hotel:  A'Zambezi River Lodge

 

After a lazy morning, we’ll take a boat over the falls to Devil's Pool and Livingstone Island and be awed by their sheer size and grandeur from up close. Lunch to be servered on the edge of the falls.  Then we head back to rest until our evening activitiy on the Victoria Falls Steam Train.

DAY 5


Victoria Falls

 

Hotel:  A'Zambezi River Lodge

 

Today we wake up early, as we have a full day. We start with a short ride to Botswana and after clearing customs and immigration we make our way for an all-day safari to Chobe National Park. We start with a morning drive then have lunch at the local hotel and then switch to a water safari.

DAY 6

 

Johannesburg to Kruger 

 

Hotel: Sabi River Sun

 

After breakfast we'll fly back to Johannesburg. After clearing border control we'll take a short flight to Kruger. You'll be picked up by our luxury coach and whisked away to your hotel near Kruger National Park.

DAY 7

Today we’ll tour the Sabie region, including Bourke's Luck Potholes/Blyde Canyon, The Panoramic Route, and God's Window.

DAY 8

 

Kruger National Park

Today is an early 6 am start. Just as the wildlife awakens, meet your safari ranger and hop aboard your open vehicle for a thrilling game drive through Kruger National Reserve. Photograph away as you spot the Big Five and other wildlife found on the reserve.

Kruger to Cape Town

After early breakfast we'll  take a flight to Johannesburg and meet our driver to take us to our hotel in preparation for our exciting adventure to come.

After breakfast we meet our driver an coach and tour the City of Cape Town., we make our way to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens for lunch and then iconic Table Mountain.

DAY 13

 

Cape Town

Today after breakfast, we meet our driver for a private coach ride to explore the Cape Peninsula. We'll head to the Cape Of Good Hope, watch the Penguins at Boulders Beach and cruise Hout Bay to enjoy a boat cruise to see the Cape Fur Seals.
 

Dinner: Karibu Restaurant at the V & A Waterfront

DAY 14

 

Cape Town

After a lazy morning we embark on an amazing journey to enjoy world-renown wines on our private Cape Winery Tour.

After a hearty breakfast we'll ferry to Robben Island for a inspiring tour. Then head to V & A Waterfront for final shopping and its your day to do what you want.

Cape Town- End of Adventure

Today is at your leisure until the transfer to the airport for your onward arrangements.
